Our Little Family

Hello, my name is Erin.  I am a navy wife, mom, sister, and daughter.  I am incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful and loving family, the best family a girl could ask for!  I was born and raised in a small town in Maryland, a place that will always be home to me.  I am a lover of:  God, dogs, the beach, NY giants, lacrosse, my sweet children, writing, crabs, hiking, sunshine, traveling, coffee, social work, exploring, scrapbooking, shopping, DIY projects, cloth diapers, crafts, my dear husband, life, cooking, shoes, clothes, essential oils, coaching, shopping, family, and a whole lot more!
We are currently stationed overseas in Japan!  When I first started this blog it was a place where I could share our day to day adventures with our friends and family back home.  Little did I know, that this blog would become so much more than I ever envisioned.  This blog has become my resting place, a place where I come to when I need to get away and just put my feelings down on paper.  A place where I feel like I can be real and genuine and share my true thoughts.  A place where I feel at a home, a place where my world has unraveled.  This blog is something I truly cherish and the memories that have been written are ones I will carry with me forever.

My sweet little Micah was born in November of 2012.  He is the happiest, smartest, most inquisitive little boy.  I am forever grateful for his smile and big heart, he has kept me going in more ways than one!

In 2014 we were preparing for our second child and that's when our world came crashing down on us.  It was in March of 2014 that we found out that something was seriously wrong with our sweet little baby.  He had trisomy 13, a rare chromosome abnormality.  I carried my sweet Asher for 9 beautiful months and on July 3, 2014, he was born into the arms of Jesus.  I am forever changed because of him.

In 2015, we welcomed our sweet rainbow baby, Elsie.  This little girl came home from the hospital on July 3, 2015, what would have been Asher's first birthday.  So much joy has been found through this sweet girl.  She has been so so so good for our hearts, she is just what we needed!

This blog shares my heart.  It shows what I am passionate about.  It shows my hopes and dream.  It is a place to call my own.  A place to help me to
keep my sanity in this crazy thing called life.  I hope you will join me on the adventure!
